Before going to Divine Mercy we stopped to get some halohalo from a family friends Buko Halo spot. It was going to be at least an hour drive so get your refreshments and make sure you tinkle before you go.
For some reason she thinks it's funny to pull her tongue.
Divine Mercy is located in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato Philippines. It has a 45 meter statue of Jesus Christ. The biggest I have ever seen. I guess it's Lake Sebu's version of the Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue was actually built by a person who's loved one was miraculously healed. There is also a huge garden area with a lit of sitting areas to reflect. You can also buy candles that cost ₱5 each for a specific type of prayer - like red is for love, blue is for healing, and green is for future exams. The candle area also has sample prayers posted on the fall for specific types of prayers.
